Tempelhof – then and now.

A small base exchange occupied the area to the left. For bigger purchases, Airmen still needed to visit Truman Plaza. In the background behind the metal stairs was the bike rack where I once secured my bicycle. The rack is gone, but it still remains a good place to lock a bike to this day.
